Actually, I think the second “ch” is also pronounced with a soft “tch” sound. Unfortunately no more Native Americans around to ask about the true pronunciation! I like the piccies so far, very nice. I’ll get your email from Adrian, it would be great to stay in touch.
Apparently Cochichewick is pronounced Coe – CHICK – er – wick, with the accent on the second syllable and the second “ch” pronounced like a K. Or something like that.
So I’m told.
